Cherry is the small, intentionally low-profile residential pocket tucked between Myers Park, Midtown, and the eastern edge of Uptown. Established in 1891 as one of Charlotte's earliest streetcar suburbs, Cherry today functions as the city's most discreet intown enclave — eight blocks of restored craftsman bungalows and modern infill, two minutes from Park Avenue and four minutes from the Bank of America Corporate Center.

What distinguishes Cherry is restraint. The neighborhood holds no commercial corridor, no through-traffic spine, and no signage. Architecture is overwhelmingly craftsman bungalow at the original-home tier, with thoughtful contemporary infill at the higher end — the most considered of which respect lot scale and tree canopy rather than maximizing footprint.
